We greatly value our patients and their families and we appreciate the confidence entrusted in our team. It is our unwavering goal to provide a safe, comfortable and convenient environment that is focused on optimal clinical care and outcomes. To achieve this goal we focus our leadership on a shared governance and participative model founded in our core values: Clinical Quality, Integrity, Service Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability and Continuous Improvement.

We are fueled by the desire to serve, care and enhance the lives of others. While we understand that most of our patients do not look forward to undergoing a surgical procedure, we also know that surgical intervention brings healing and relief of health conditions.  Our patients and their families are always our number one priority!

The Environment

We take great pride in our work environment.  Teamwork is an every day part of that environment. We further support our teammates by inspiring and nurturing professional growth.  We recognize and reward teammates for their commitment to service and efficiency.  We lead by example and believe that each member of the team is a vital part of our center and our continued success. We constantly seek opportunities to improve our processes and ensure ongoing service excellence in all that we do.

It is our goal to provide affordable care that maximizes value for our patients and is focused upon quality and safety. We welcome your feedback about your experience.  Patient feedback provides us with some of the best suggestions for making the patient experience even better. We encourage you to complete the Patient Experience Survey that you will receive after your visit.  Your comments matter to us and are an invaluable resource.

If during your visit with us, there is anything we can do to improve your experience, we ask that you let a member of our team know so that we can address your feedback in real-time.

Thank you for choosing the Charlotte Surgery Center Museum Campus.

History

The Charlotte Surgery Center has been a part of the local healthcare community since inception in 1984. Serving patients from across North Carolina, including Mecklenburg and many other surrounding counties, our outreach now extends into other states including South Carolina and Virginia. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals make patient care their priority.

Over the years, our center has undergone three major renovations and expansions to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We are proud to be a part of our vibrant community and look forward to providing excellence in surgical care for many years to come.

Accreditation

In conjunction with our relentless commitment to excellence, we have proudly achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC). This voluntary, external process includes a rigorous, on-site evaluation that examines our processes and the care which we provide. Accreditation recognizes our ambulatory surgical center (ASC) for providing high quality care to our patients. Status as an accredited organization means that Charlotte Surgery Center has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality healthcare as set forth by AAAHC.

It is our sincere belief that our patients deserve a high quality experience. To this end, we constantly strive for continuous improvement in all that we do.
