History

The Charlotte Surgery Center has been a part of the local healthcare community since inception in 1984.  Serving patients from across North Carolina, including Mecklenburg and many other surrounding counties, our outreach now extends into other states including South Carolina and Virginia. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals make patient care their priority.

Over the years, our center has undergone three major renovations and expansions to meet the needs of the communities we serve.  We are proud to be a part of our vibrant community and look forward to providing excellence in surgical care for many years to come.

Accreditation

In conjunction with our relentless commitment to excellence,  we have proudly achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC). This voluntary, external process includes a rigorous, on-site evaluation that examines our processes and the care which we provide. Accreditation recognizes our ambulatory surgical center (ASC) for providing high quality care to our patients. Status as an accredited organization means that Charlotte Surgery Center has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality healthcare as set forth by AAAHC.
